First topic message reminder :

What does everone think about a TRIVIA thread

Stuff that maybe of no use to most people but really handy to the others. Maybe a good DVD ,something they have made,seen ,heard of ,
cooked ,been too .Minor things that do not really warrant a post of there own.(like most of my stuff ,there beat you to it )
Like taking a tractor tyre up north to float your Bandit across a river to a football selection ,the taste of beer ,who's state is
better at Rugby League. (may be not that) .Something that may make someone else say ,"why didnt i think of that".

Good idea or just post it on "off topic discussions " or not post it at all? (feeling vulnerable now )

I must be one of the very few left who have not had a car licence all this time.

One thing I'm fairly certain of, knowing how young and stupid I was at 17 I wouldn't be here today if I had a bike license back then.

I can imagine.

My first accident was at age 17 on a Triumph Thunderbird.

Here I was heading up a straight road.

A truck in front of me flashed his right blinker which I understood meant you can pass me.

WRONG!!

He did a right hand turn and I finished up with a squashed bike and some bruising.

Even today when trucks flash the right hand blinker I am extremely cautious (and apprehensive)

Some times i love my traffic controller job .Todays job was watching motor bikes going up and down Mt Glorious ,and they PAID me to do it .

Friday night is date night, Thai normally . Tonight i looked over and Chris Vermeulem was sitting opposite .Apparently the trick to going fast is
Beef Jungle Curry .

Night shits traffic controll tonight was a mad house .Nutters night out, 5 cars through stop bat ,one person jumping out of a car ,me punching
side window to get car to stop .The only thing good about it was 2 of us got BOOBIE FLASHED .00

At least it wasn't boring Gus

Only a few more to catch up to Gus

We have been threating our 2 chooks lately with extermination due to lack of eggs (read NIL )

Look what i found down the back yard today . 17 in total

Guess what your having for breakfast , lunch & dinner for a while

Some of those would be old enough to throw at people who don't stop....

We had a reduction in egg production a while back. I didn't relate the increase back to normal egg numbers to the fact that I fixed a hole at the back of their pen. About 12 months later when we had got rid of the girls and I was pulling the roost down I found a whole bunch of eggs. I knew they were all off, but didn't think that their shells weren't that strong until I started to pick them up and they broke in my hands, the smell almost choked me and the whole neighborhood

Checked my speedo odometer came in at 70 754klm. Not a bad effort for a 2002 1200.
Still have bit if a head seal oil weep but nothing more serious than that.
