tyre checkers
gus,
I`ve been in the tyre game for 20 some years
the only tyre checker u should have on ur bike is you
valve cores are only for letting air in or out
use metal valve caps with o rings in them
i check my air pressures every time i ride
those caps that change colour or the green ring caps
or valve sensors are for lazy people.
ps thanks for the info on the sticker on my tank

Re: Tyre checkers
Never used em but recon they'd be handy for a quick glance type of check so long as they don't let air out and don't effect wheel balance.
I'm like others and check tyre pressures weekly. I sometimes use different pressures depending on what I'm doing and where I'm doing it so they are no good for me.

Personally I think they are a bit of a wank and I can't see how they can be very accurate. Personally I'll stick with a tyre pressure guage and checking the pressures weekly. Mind you, tyre pressures guages can be inaccurate as well.
