Your 5 Bike Garage
Pick any 5 bikes and only 5 past or present that you could imagine in your garage.
Bandit 1250S (the do anything bike)
RF900R (most under rated bike I have ever owned)
Single Cam Honda 750/4 (a classic without the oil leaks)
Buell XB12SS (for the uniqueness value)
Kawasaki ZX14 (last because I need my license!)
There are about 10 that could slot in at number 6
What's yours?

Re: Your 5 Bike Garage
Easy,
Roadbike ....1250 Bandit
Sportbike .....CBR1000RR, or the new BMW SS1000RR, or maybe even a Ducati 1198S (they are reliable in this fantasy world aren't they?)
All roads bike ....Yamaha XTZ1200 Super Tenere
Give it heaps trackbike ....CCM C26 Motard (just have to get it fixed up)
Dirtbike ....KTM300EXC
So really all I need is the OK to get a sportbike and a Super Tenere, the common thread is they are all more capable than I, but god its fun trying

Re: Your 5 Bike Garage
Something for all occasions: Bandit 1250s
Something for off roading adventure: Vstrom 650 (haven't ridden any one of this type of bike so just guessing)
Something nostalgic: The new Kwaka W800
Something to commute on: Honda CB400 four
Something very touring oriented: GTR1400 or BMW1200 or whatever has the best seat!

Re: Your 5 Bike Garage
My five would be
Ducati 916
2002 Dyna Glide Sport (with stage 3 screaming eagle kit, fornales suspension and brembo brakes - I nealy bought this instead of the bandit.)
BMW R1200RT
Triumph Tiger
BSA Gold Star
No I wouldn't have a bandit because with these 5 bikes it becomes redundant.

Re: Your 5 Bike Garage
1. KTM SuperDuke 990 - should shave some time off the commute to work and carve up the sportsbike wannabe's...

2. Husqvarna SM510R - to really carve up the sportsbike wannabe's... until it runs out of fuel anyway.

3. Yamaha Tenera 660 - to release my inner Dakar rider and get lost somewhere.

4. Triumph Thruxton SE - to show off at PITS.

5. Suzuki GSV-R - just to see everyone's face at an Eastern Creek trackday. And also because I'd probably be faster than Capirossi was this year in MotoGP...

Not the most sensible list but surely a fun one

Yep, I know. It was a brilliant bike, and my wife worked for the HD dealer at the time, but the $35,000+ price tag was a lot more than I was/am prepared to pay for a bike.
