A dilemma

Post  Handy1250FA on Sat 21 Jul 2018, 5:32 pm

I've loved my GSX 1250FA so much that I updated the 2010 to a 2015 a while back.......still loving it, but I purchased a Honda VFR1200f the other day with the idea of turning it over and make a few dollars, except it's such an amazing bike to ride compared to the GSX1250. A huge amount of more power and way better cornering, which to me feels like it's due to a much lower centre of gravity. I didn't plan on owning two bikes, but will be hard to get rid of the VFR. Ideally keep the VFR for the fun short/day rides and the GSX1250 for the long rides.

Two bikes sound great ..............but if you can only choose one take your pick .Neither of them are dud bikes .

My VFR1200 is the best I’ve ever owned. Not perfect but nothing is.

2wheels, I thought you were a Bandit rider through & through.

I must say after a few more outings on the VFR1200f, it's crazy quick compared to my 1250FA, and does just about everything better. Looks better, stops better, handles better.
To be fair they are not bikes to compare against each other...just different bikes.
Having said that, the 1250FA would be my pick on anything other than a one day ride.
