Progress.....

Jesus H Christ on a bicycle, these barrels are a bitch to get off    Twisted Evil

But I win, one to nothing  Cool

I've ordered a few bit's and pieces, had a new pair of side covers turn up from Suzuki  Cool  43 years on and you can still get spares from Suzuki....Rockin'!!!!  Cool

I've been spending a lot of time on the puter checking out what and what's not available, resto will be cruisier than I thought  Cool

I sent the master cylinder to New York last week to get re-sleeved, I looked locally but apparently it "too hard"  Suspect

I've imported quite a few cars from the States, obviously the Yanks don't reserve shit wiring just for their cars  Rolling Eyes

This is what came out of the tank.

All that remains of the seat base, a day in the vinegar brought it back to factory  Very Happy

I was happy to see this  Cool Keep in mind this turd was sitting outside for 19 years.

More pics.

Pulled the turder down a bit more today  Smile  I was told when I bought it that it was parked up for 19 years, rego label says different.

Why is it that Yanks have to butcher the shit out of wiring  confused  I imagine the turkey who owned it parked it up because he couldn't get it running on all cylinders  Smile

Not sure if this will help, but I saw a post on Facebook today from "Badge Replicas" (Facebook handle), which stated:

"If anyone is looking for parts for the early (late '50's to late '60's) Suzuki two stroke motorcycles then send me a message, I have purchased a rather large collection of Genuine NOS Suzuki parts for the Coleeda, MA15, K10, K15, B100, T10 T20 etc etc motorcycles. If you can send me a part number and or a description I will see what I have, the photos are just what was in the car, still a trailer to unload."

The post included the following pics:

Re: Let the resto commence...

Post  rodent4 on Sun 08 Jul 2018, 5:28 pm

Not much going on lately as the project has stalled  Neutral  I have been in contact with 2 Suzuki dealers who assured me they were interested in ordering parts for me  when I organised a list. I got the list organised and gave it to the first dealer who had it for 10 weeks and did nothing, second dealer has had the list for 4 weeks and I haven't heard from them either.

Aren't Suzuki dealers in the business of selling spares Question  So I've decided I'm just gonna plod along with the build and buy gear as I need it(unless the second dealer contacts me in the near future).

Got bored today so I did some repairs on another seat base that I acquired, I don't have enough wire on my spool to repair the original  Very Happy I still have to weld one nut to it and drill 2 holes.

Was having brekky at a riders hang out last weekend, and the unmistakable sound of a two stroke,  was approaching. What was it....750 triple.
Sounded good, and good to see it on the road.
Looked shinny.

So I've decided to buy odds and ends when they rare their heads, it'll take longer but it'll be less painful(hopefully)  Smile
