They're getting on a bit ..............just like some of us  Laughing . The last model with the 1200 motor was 2006 , I guess we will just have to wait for them to become classics & go up in value .

How old to be considered a classic - I'm 52.

I drive an old 80 series cruiser and the prices some blokes are asking on a forum I visit makes mine look like a good investment - a really good investment.

Technically , you are well into the classic age truck  Laughing ...............which sadly puts me in the vintage age ; heading toward veteran .  Shocked Crying or Very sad ( I wouldn't be game to see what I would be worth on the open market Rolling Eyes .........there's probably not even many spare parts worth salvaging either come to think of it  Laughing  )

I always thought it was the other way around, Classic - Veteran and then Vintage.

A quick google and you are spot on Paul although in car terms you will never be Veteran or even Vintage, Veteran up to 1918, Vintage 1919 - 1930 but can also include vehicles manufactured before WWII

If I was a car my add might read something like this:

For Sale - 1 owner all original 1966 male with approx. 600 000 klm on the clock. (odometre is not working)
Colour is a two tone tan and white from being kept under cover and out of the weather - a few marks but still good for age. Looks good from a distance or on a dark night.
Interior is immaculate from being well maintained - fluids flushed at least twice a day. (only ever had softdrink, water and a few wines put through it on weekends)
Only serious work done was a reconditioned knee over 30 yrs ago - no problems since.
A few groans and squeaks in the morning or when asked to do something helpful - still need work in this area.
Looking for offers -  Smile Happy Sales!
