Decisions mmmm
I dropped into Hobart Motorcycles the other day and noticed a Cagiva Raptor 1000 for sale .$5200
He knows I have a tl1000r at home and started talking about a swap .
Thing is they share the same Suzuki 1000 v twin .
The TLR - Uncomfortable but will go up in value
The Cagiva -Comfortable but value wise ah , how knows .
I wished it had been the 650 Raptor and Carol could have had it .I havnt ridden the tlr for 6 months but know as soon as I do ,ill want to keep it .
Hopefully he wont turn up on Monday for a look ,like he said . I was nice red though, and I do know the motor well after two gearbox fixes .

I suppose it also comes down to which one will give you most enjoyment as well as monetary reward down the track .Probably no point buying the Raptor & just bunging it in the shed , ride them back to back before making a decision .

I have a mate in Qld (owes me a favour ) who makes a kit to turn an tlr into a Suzuki Tuono type of thing . Might be a better option as I could reverse it if I needed .

Had another look today . If the Cagiva is a 6 beer walk around My tlr would be 10 beer (to me ).
Ive got 2 Bandits for comfort . The TlR can stay as it is ,uncomfortable and exciting .
