hi guys I have a 2006 1200s bandit and I am wondering are the seat s the same 2006 onwards. I have been offered a 2012 sargent seat and its too far to go to try the fit. thanks des

They should be the same. Its generally believed that the 2006 was the same as the 1250 series except for the mechanicals. Depending on price its probably worth a crack.

yeah November 2006 they look the same $350 seems a fair price

I'd assume someone who claims to have a 2006 woud be aware of the model year start Razz  (Usually Oct for Bandits)

Just checked a parts web site, the number for the 06 is the same for 07-10.  

Interestingly it did show a different number for the 11.

I checked on megazip, the 2006 part number has been replaced by the same part number as the 2011 which was also replaced at some point in time

The 2006 was the update model ; i.e. the new body work etc. but with the 1200 motor .( must have had a heap of 1200 motors to use up LOL ) The seat is the same as the 2007 on model .

I have an 06 1200. Had a client with an 15 GSX650 come around the other day and we swapped seats. Fitted perfectly. 650 seat is one piece. A mate has a 11 1250 and his seat is identical to mine.
