They should be the same. Its generally believed that the 2006 was the same as the 1250 series except for the mechanicals. Depending on price its probably worth a crack.

Would that depend on the build date?2wheelsagain wrote:They should be the same. Its generally believed that the 2006 was the same as the 1250 series except for the mechanicals. Depending on price its probably worth a crack.

I'd assume someone who claims to have a 2006 woud be aware of the model year start (Usually Oct for Bandits)

Just checked a parts web site, the number for the 06 is the same for 07-10.
Interestingly it did show a different number for the 11.

I checked on megazip, the 2006 part number has been replaced by the same part number as the 2011 which was also replaced at some point in time

Re: bandit seat pans
The 2006 was the update model ; i.e. the new body work etc. but with the 1200 motor .( must have had a heap of 1200 motors to use up LOL ) The seat is the same as the 2007 on model .

I have an 06 1200. Had a client with an 15 GSX650 come around the other day and we swapped seats. Fitted perfectly. 650 seat is one piece. A mate has a 11 1250 and his seat is identical to mine.
