LED headlights....

I've ranted on a number of times,  about not being happy with LED lights,  as an upgrade. Prodominantly purpose built lights, as it should be. 
The brand JW Speaker, has been around for along time,  and most truck drivers use them these days.
 I've spoken to a few over the years,  to get their opinions, and also, what "I" actually see on the road.
I was never sold on them.  JW, has come out with their newest version of the same light,  but also made one for bikes.  The 8790- model number.
I'll start with. ..I think they look dog shit ugly,  especially the bike light...hidious!!!!! But the bike light has lean angle sensors,  to activate further lights, upon turning, to fill in the voids, normally being blind spots. Very smart, and long needed for bikes. 
Oh, and it's really cheap, only $1100
It's only good for 7" round replacement, so only suits naked bikes really, which is what my naked is. 
Also,  haleluya....  they've finally changed the kelvin to 5000k, not stupid 6000k, and above. 
A win in my view.  Did I mention how hidious it looks???????

I always ask my self before I buy most things - do I need it or do I just want it? I don't need them. WOW!!

I don't know if you think this is less hideous but at least it's a 'plug and play' replacement,  no wiring to worry about.

Yeah, that's still no good for bikes. 
That's why I put up the 8790 model,  as it's got lean angle sensors, to light up blind spots,  while cornering for bikes. 
Apart from BMW, no one else,  that I'm aware of, have a smart light for bikes. 
Oh....and all these LED's  look shit.....in my opinion.
Truck-lite and Quadratec, is the look I would go for,  which is reflector, not projector, but they're no good either. 
Just hope the 8790, is a game changer, so all the manufacturers, pull their fingers out, and develop a good light,  that actually works. ..."for bikes" !!!!!

2016 >  Yamaha FJR 1300 has cornering lights with lean angle sensors.

Well, we have :
BMW 1600GT,
Yamaha FJR,
Ducati Multistrada,

and counting I guess.
It should be mandatory on all bikes, not just at the top end of the scale.
