HT lead order

So I was playing around with the bike and I didn't really take notice of what order the leads go from the coils to the cylinders. I read somewhere that if the cylinders are labelled 1, 2, 3 4 (left to right when sitting on the bike) the leads from the left coil go to cylinder 1 and 4 and the the leads from the right coil go to 2 and 3. Is this right? I am having variable results when switching them around so am not sure which way is right. Any help? Thanks in advance

Hey mate , what u said is correct  cyls 1234  , left coil 1&4 . I once made a costly mistake thinking  cylinder order was 1243 , firing order 1243  .have fun

my 1200 leads had a small ring on them with the number on them  .( yes it's 1243 firing order )
