Plasti dip windscreen
My screen was in pretty average shape, some crazing and starting to yellow in places. I considered replacing it with a tinted one but they all seemed to go up higher than the oem. Didn't really suit the look I was going for.So I plasti dip'd the inside instead, figuring it could be removed easily if i screwed up/got it way wrong
It was pretty simple really and I am happy with the result. The only challenging part was trying to find the top rubber nut thingy that escaped when I pulled the windscreen out. It was my first time using dip so its not a perfect finish on the inside but will more than work for me. I would want to get a lot better at it before attempting any panels/tank etc.
Obviously I cant see out of it anymore but even in full tuck I still see over the screen anyway.
1 can plasti dip $28, 4 Bentspoke brewery beers $24, I evening and several coats. 8/10 would recommend
Excuse the messy backyard mid landscaping in the second photo!

Cheers - no the finish looks great from the outside as the inside of the screen is sprayed. There’s just a few little bubbles/drips on the inside. Overall I’m pretty happy, will be interesting to see how it holds up over time.
