Time has come for new rotors. Any suggestions for reasonably priced upgrades? Do Hayabusa rotors fit? '07 GSF1250S

If I'm going to replace them, I'm going with new and better. Will check out Slipstream

I'm wondering what makes a rotor better than the OEM suzuki ones?
Not being smart, i'm just wanting to know.

Heat dissipation is a bonus and weight reduction makes for improved handling, apparently

This is a hard call,  with the AUS dollar the way it is.
I totally agree with Ironman, on the OEM thing. The problem there is,  new OEM is almost $1000 for both discs.
I personally,  will never go stainless, and will only use carbon steel.
The last time i invested in OEM, the AUS dollar was $1.08 against the US, and one supplier in the US was selling them almost half what they sold them here in AUS. The bottom line,  delivered  i got them for just under $500. Wish it I'd bought 2 sets.
I've just order a Brembo rear disc,  which is carbon steel off ebay,  and delivered, was under $150, vs $250 OEM. So the moral of the story here is,  I'll see what the rear brembo is like,  and if good  I'll try them on the front when the time comes.

When i bought my bike 13yrs ago,  i destroyed my original, and another 2 sets of second hand OEM discs,  from using high content sinter pads.....I'll never use ferodo HH pads again (my opinion only)
Along with OEM discs,  i use OEM pads, which are compatible together.
The brembo's still aren't cheap  but cheaper than OEM.
If you look hard enough, you'll see there can be a big difference  in prices on ebay.
The ones I'm looking at,  are  "Brembo Serie Oro"  they do both a stainless and carbon steel.

I was going to send you a link to both the stainless,  and carbon steel products,  but I'm struggling to find the carbon steel page on the brembo site.
I can find the product on ebay......
Anyway,  just an option in your search for what ever you get.

I needed just one front rotor for my GS1200. My cousin at Adventure Motorcycle Equipment got me a Brembo for $159. I rang BMW out of curiosity to see what an OEM was worth. $518.

They say the cheapest thing on a beemer is the rider.

I use the Ferodo standard pads (no HH for me thanks) with the OEM discs as I believe pads are better to replace than pads and discs. Track day with the b12 running these and the only fade I had was my nerve and courage to hold the throttle wide open any longer before braking at turn 3 QR.
Just ask anyone with a modern euro car (ask me in fact I have one) pads last longer now than the freaking discs!!!!!
