Noise when releasing the clutch fast
When I release the clutch faster on a hard take off my bandit makes a noise sometimes but only on hard take off, someone told me its the rod and ball bearing that is under pressure when clutch is engaged that is causing it
anyone else had or heard of this and how to fix it,
bike is 2008, 1250 bandit and has done 56000, just run in they say

At those km, I would be looking at chain and sprockets.
Similar issue on a GPZ, many years ago. Only and clunking noise under heavy load.

the chain/sprockets are fine, the noise is coming from clutch area

Re: Noise when releasing the clutch fast
I've never had any noise coming from the clutch on hard take offs. Mine is a 2007 with 42000km on the clock.
Maybe clutch slippage? What oil are you using?

Re: Noise when releasing the clutch fast
was told it could be the clutch push rod, not sure if there is a ball bearing at the end which may be worn, also slight clutch rumble while in neutral with no pressure on clutch leaver, the trust washer and bearing ?

Re: Noise when releasing the clutch fast
The rumble noise while in neutral with no pressure on the clutch leaver which goes away when you pull the clutch in , is normal for this model bike ( and a lot of other bikes these days as well ) they make that noise from new . You could also try cleaning any gunky chain lube off the clutch push rod which could stop it working properly, to see if that solves your other problem.
