Newbie based at Kurmond NSW
Hi Guys's n Gal's ?
I'm an old greybeard, after thrashing my Triumph T100 as a teenager in the Uk, I started riding again here about 20 years ago. Had a few bikes including a GSF750 which I really enjoyed.
Right now I have a 2015 Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport up for sale, nice bike but a bit tall and a bit top heavy, my aging body struggles to get the leg over, (the bike as well ), I'm an average 5"10" but I'm very wary of the weight moving it around the shed, so she has to go.
I found a black 1250FA with only 520klm on it and it now belongs to me Only rode it home half hour from Penrith yesterday, (took advantage of a break in the rain), and I thinks I'm gonna love it, that awesome torque will become addictive methinks and the Tiger is no slouch.
I've read bits n pieces about it's handling but I don't think my non knee down style will be bothered but I do think the speed limits are bullshit
I look forward to tic tacking with you guys and maybe getting a ride in with some of you as well.
Cheers, Dave

Welcome aboard Dave. Low kms for a 2nd hand bike if not a dealer demonstrator.

Welcome Dave
If you're up for it, a few of us are traveling over to the festival of speed this week, we'll be at the track each day

It's a 2015 build bought in Oct last year, buyer was on the short side, had wrist and thumb problem and couldn't hack the lean forward. So he bought something more upright.Ewok1958 wrote:Welcome aboard Dave. Low kms for a 2nd hand bike if not a dealer demonstrator.
She's as good as a new one and if the rain continues to hold off I might even take her round the local loop.

Chook I'm kicking myself, we've booked to fly to Cairns this coming week-end to visit my sister, haven't been up there for a few years and we booked early, got some flights $210 each way! that's less than half normal price... Bugger.Chook wrote:Welcome Dave
