Same road same speed traveling together .
For every 15 litres used buy the 1200 the 600 used 11 .That's a big difference considering the 600 has to work harder .

Just curious mate, how many km's/L, are you getting out of the 1200?

After I tuned and set mine up, its now got fantastic torque, and I can get 21 km's/L

About 16-17 kl/per Lt  but you would have to call it 2 up because of all the gear (camping ). I didn't like the standard gearing either . I was always looking for another gear .

If you don't already, I highly suggest putting in a timing advancer, or slot your plates.
I prefer the advanced rotor botton.
This alone, would have to be the single best thing, to do to the 1200. Increases torque, and gives better economy. But....a bit counter productive, as you must use, in my experience, 98, or it will ping, but the trade off far exceeds the price of the fuel.
After putting it in both my 1200's, they both ping, if I don't use 98.
With my Gen 1,  I can short shift it, and i ride it between 2500-5000 rpm, and rarely have to.take it over that limit. In that zone, alone, the front easily picks up in first, (maybe a little annoying, as how easy it picks up) and bounces the wheel in 2nd with the torque it now has. I have lifted the needles, only one clip, 107 main, removed the snorkle, and did the mod on the standard Can, as I have stated in the past on this site.
I keep on test riding bikes, and after I set up my Gen 1 properly, I still can't find anything to replace it.
With the mods I did,  it doesn't have huge HP. Thats not what i was trying to achieve, but has real time useable torque, and going for a blast through mountain twists, still gets 20km's/L.
Basically, the bike is now more efficient.
