Looking to buy some Arrow collectors Empty Looking to buy some Arrow collectors

Hello gents, as the header says I'm looking to buy some Arrow(71374MI) collectors and have a question for you guys who have fitted them, and guys with an earlier bikes than mine.

Everywhere I see these pipes advertised it says they're to suit up to '09, they should also fit '10 as they have the same system. 

I have a '12, Suzuki parts books show that '09-'10 are a different to '11-'12, if there are any differences do any of you guys know what they are?

Has anyone fitted them to a '11 or '12, and was there any dramas?


I have read all related threads about these pipes on the forum but didn't find any relevant info.

Suzuki Parts catalogue lists,

14100-18H11 for '09-10 

and 1400-18H13 for '11-12

Shouldn't be a problem , the 13 just replaces the earlier numbers so they should still fit ok

Missus has green lighted me to get the pipes and a PC, I already have an Akra can and Yoshi sticks fitted.

The pipes, Pc and a tune should give me a bit more go  Cool

Just bought them, $720au Smile

Now just have to organise someone to fit a PC and tune the sucker after the pipes arrive  Cool

Anyone have detailed links to butterfly removal and air box butcher?

If I recall correctly Arrow revised the design of the headers so they would fit the FA without interfering with the fairings.
Later kit might fit all models where as the older one wont?

My wife's cousin has a L4S (2014 S model) and the Arrows headers went on no problem.

I'm into cars and am used to buying gear and re-engineering it to fit.......not this time, the Arrow pipes fit was perfect  Cool

It's gotta be one of the easiest "part" installs I've done for a long time  Cool

Roughly around an hour to remove the old pipe and fit the Arrow  Cool

Once you lay everything out they do go together quite easily.  I think MM was right about the later models have a change to make sure they didn't foul the lower fairings, I had to cut a small section out of my right hand fairing as the outside pipe was touching.  These were factory original fairings for the K7 model that I bought from the UK:

Just looking at your top picture above, it appears to me that the flange bracket might be upside down on your middle pipes or the springs are not seated in the correct holes.  On mine all the springs are pretty much in line with the flow of the pipes, where as on yours they have a distinct upwards slant to them:

I haven't ridden it further than around the block, so it's hard to tell. I just checked the letterbox after 2 beers and my plug(for 02 sensor removal) has turned up, I don't ride after beers.

If the weather is nice I'll ride it to work tomorrow and check back in with details  Smile

Rode the sucker to work today, not far enough to give any real feedback but I did notice a couple of things.

It's mildly louder but sounds good,
It definitely has more power, how much I won't know till I get it tuned,
I have always had a vibration in the right bar that would numb my fingers slightly after 30kms, and a slight vibration through the seat....now they're gone  scratch  Can an Exhaust actually cause a vibration?

I have Yoshi cams in the bike and have never really heard them "lump"......... until now  Very Happy   Nothing major but it does sound cool, when I get it tuned it'll probably disappear Sad

Tune Tuesday,Wednesday, I'll chime back in with figures regardless of how good or bad. 

No ad-on box, just going to try and get a tune in it with what Suzuki supplied from the factory  Very Happy

Picked it up, tune must have been reasonable before it went there(was a bit lean under 3k apparently)

When it got there: 116.94hp, 108.26tq

After tune: 117.99hp, 112.56tq

Although there wasn't much in it, I'd rather have it looked at after the Collector pipe went on and the 02 sensor and the cat departed.

I still haven't done a great deal of miles on it apart from commuting, feels better the whole way through the range, no flat spots, and it has definitely gotten rid of the vibe that I used to have in my right bar Cool

Had a couple of nice right and left handers on the way home yesterday, and didn't have any issues confused 

I get my scooter over enough that it's right on the edge of the tread of the Pilot 4's, maybe it's a different version of collector?

Have you done the airbox lid removal etc?

Ive got the same headers on my 10FA, no touch downs as the suspension is sorted.

Not at this stage, I may look at that and pair removal setup and a Power commander(or an alternative) down the track. 

I'm hoping my car will be home soon after being at the painters for 9 months.......that'll keep me poor for 12 months or so  Crying or Very sad

If you're worried about cutting up the air box lid, new ones are only about $20 at the Suzuki dealers, or they were when I bought a spare a couple of years ago.
