Newbie in SA
Greetings from a new Bandit owner in SA.
I've just now put down a deposit on a new 1250S ABS, I'll be picking it up in a few days.
I'm currently riding a 1974 CB750 which I love, but it's a bit of a pain in lots of ways (eg pillioning, longer trips, rain) so I've decided to get a more "do it all" bike. Before the CB I had much more practical bikes (eg VFR, etc), and I like the idea of once again not having to wonder if the bike will decide to start this time The value-for-money of the new Bandit is just amazing. I did look at lots of interesting used bikes (eg R1100S, etc etc), but kept coming back to a new Bandit.
Once I get the first service out of the way I'm planning on buying panniers and a top box, and probably also a new (smaller!) exhaust and maybe a Power Commander or similar. I'm open to advice on these things.
