If it were only for the turbo it would be ok for roadworthy, there is no breach of ADRs or Vehicle Standards when you bolt a turbo onto a motorbike (at least up until late 90's build, not sure after that)

Here is one reason why not . It takes as much time and money to fit a turbo into a Mitsubishi Sigma as just about anything else .
When finished ,its still a Sigma .

I knew a guy who made himself a Turbo Sigma using a Starion engine as a base. That was no normal Sigma, bloody thing flew.

The Sigma did come out as a factory turbo, they're worth a fair bit now.
SA Police used them for a while, IIRC they destroyed a few engines and went back to V8s

I drove my old mans 1850cc Chrysler Sigma to the old Tonne, with four mates in the car, when I got my licence. It took about five minutes, but we got there. On retreads, too.
