You can get the stock ecu flashed by a good dyno guy for less than a PC.Dazzalar62 wrote:2009 1250 bandit yoshi pipe / K n N filter . Apparently been told i need a fuel commander on it ? Anybody got a second hand one lying around getting dusty ?.

There's about a squillion Bandits happily running around the word with a pipe and a high flow filter and no addon fuel controller.

My 2010 1250S is running K&N filter, Yoshi can and Delkevic headers. I haven't installed a power commander (or any other fuel commander). It does run rich though. That only started after I installed the headers. With the Yoshi can and K&N filter, no need to even think about a PC.

Are you having problems must be the first question ....................if you are , try putting the original filter back in to see if that is your problem & work from there ............if you aren't having problems , previous comments have been given .Dazzalar62 wrote:2009 1250 bandit yoshi pipe / K n N filter . More like probably OK; individual bikes, local fuel, maintenance etc...all mean that there are no guarantees. However, as long as you leave the airbox stock you should be fine.

Sounds good. BUT, if you don't feel it is fuelling correctly, then you might revisit the idea - after all, the purpose of a PC is not just to prevent burnt valves, but to enable you to refine the fuel mapping to suit the bike setup - similar to fiddling with jets and needles levels in a carby set up.
