Used bike prices

I'm always looking for a bargain . I have a limit of $1000 and tend to look for a bike which is all there but may have a mechanical hick up . I had a Trx 850 all but mine the other night for $900 . A ,runs but stops project .Seeing as I I was going to hospital in the morning with a heart complaint ,I figured I better see if I come out (not the closet)
alive before I buy another bike . Turns out i'm fine but bike got sold .Better than the other way around and I really can not afford it .
Still I can not help to HUNT down something else .
Trouble is there seems to be a $ jump in second hand bike prices on Gumtree on certain models . Gsx 1400 was a surprise how much they ask .
Gsx-r and OLD Honda's have gone up .
The only thing cheap seems to be flogged out 250 cc 4 cylinder bikes . (no thanks)
If I could find a load of Bandit 600's id buy the lot .
That oil cooled motor with screw and lock nut valve adjustment is a beauty .
If you see one cheap let me know.

Sure the 1200 is PROBABLY better but the asking price is getting 4 times as much .

Glad your ECU passed the test Gus and I'm happy to keep an eye out but some prices are as much as they were new for a very used bike. That doesn't make sense to me.

You put the words " I turned it into a café racer " and add $3000 to the price . In reality it should be $3000 LESS .
