Yet to be realised and surprisingly I liked it . In an age of alien looking headlight it nice to see Suzuki go back to a round one .
Can not find a pic though ,can someone please post a pic if they can find it . The white one would be nice . Could be under new Gladius  but looks like a sv

Looks like a baby ducati http://www.mcnews.com.au/2016-suzuki-sv650/#gallery/2016 SUZUKI SV650/29906

If they bought out an up spec model with decent suspension it'd be a winner

Quote .........The 2016 SV650 will be available in Australia in Learner Approved specification mid 2016 with Suzuki announcing pricing details and full specifications closer to launch...............Quote

Does that mean it won't come in the non learner version ?

More here:

http://www.bikesales.com.au/editorial/news/2016/return-of-the-suzuki-sv650-9990-rideaway-56604

The return of the "original V-twin fun machine" is imminent, as it's out with the curvy Gladius and in with the chiselled SV650
At the 2016 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Suzuki announced that not only would it be introducing a heavily updated 645cc V-twin roadster for 2016, but it would be also ditching the Gladius moniker and revert back to the SV650 nomenclature first used way back in 1999.

That Euro4 compliant mid-size naked bike will shortly arrive in Australia, complete with 60 new engine updates and 70 changes to the chassis for an all-round smaller bike.

It will carry a special introductory price of $9990 rideaway.

The 645cc 90-degree liquid-cooled V-twin engine outputs 45hp (35kW) at 8500rpm and 56.5Nm at 4000rpm, meeting Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) requirements.

The mill has Suzuki's Low RPM Assist function which raises engine rpm in launching or low rpm riding conditions via the ECM activating the ISC system. The SV650 is also equipped with an easy start system — first introduced on the GSX-S1000 — which engages the starter motor at a precisely timed pre-set interval.

The newly designed trellis frame is constructed of light-weight steel, and the SV650’s streamlined profile is the result of ergonomically shaped side covers and optimised seat design. At its widest point the fuel tank has been reduced by 64.5mm.

The seat is 785mm high, and has been designed to be nearly flat from front to back. The bike has 290mm discs at the front and a 240mm unit on the rear, complete with Nissin anti-lock braking.

Colours are red, white or metallic matte black. Deliveries start in June 2016; contact your nearest Suzuki dealer for more information.
