Welcome aboard.
With the price of used 1250s you'd be taking a step backwards on a 1200  unless it was silly money.

I agree, 2WA, that you get more bike for your money with a 1250, but the oilers certainly tick a lot of boxes for me.
The 1250 is a smooth and solid awesome torque machine, but when I jump on the 1200 I can feel the hooligan wanting to come out to play.
Horses for courses. I personally wouldn't recommend the 1250 over the 1200 purely because it was the next evolution. In my eyes, they are such different machines. I can see why Suzuki dropped the Bandit name.
Perhaps John may be looking for a 1200 with this taken into account.
Not flaming you in any way. Smile

Welcome to the forum John.

It's very silly money, I think anyway. It's certainly a step up from my current 650.
