Thanks R&G

Post  2wheelsagain on Thu 21 Apr 2016, 1:53 pm

I had recent cause to complain to R&G about an ill-fitting radiator guard that required modification even though it was advertised to fit and the instructions were for the intended bike.
To my surprise they replied asking for more detail which I supplied along with photos.
So today I go to the Post Office and there is a package from R&G and now they're back in my good books.
It pays to constructively complain and offer solutions I guess. True it wont send them broke but to me it says they care about customer satisfaction.

Here's what they sent.

If you want something sorted out in your favour the only way to go about it is in a cool constructive manner. I've had quite a few wins in recent years by doing the same, quite a few losses previously. I guess sometimes it takes some of us longer to learn that.

So i take it that is the protective cover for the rear shock Chris?

Yes mate it is. The irony is the MV Shock is well protected by the swingarm with only the gold castings visible on top but ill see if it fits the VFR which would be very exposed if not for the hugger.

The point of the post was that good companies listen to constructive feedback and we should offer it as much as we need too.

In my case either R&G altered the mounts slightly during a production run or more likely MV had a slight update since the first 3cyl launched and R&G hadn't kept up. They're aware of it now cheers

Great result. Customer service is crucial for repeat business and bad word of mouth is mighty powerful.
R&G deserve a link in our suppliers section.  Do we have a suppliers section?
And forward a link to this thread to R&G to let them know that their initiative is having positive results. .
Great work 2wa. Very Happy
