any such thing as a quieter helmet
I have a Shark S700 lid that cost $300 a couple of years ago, even wearing ear plugs its as noisy as hell
I had a cheap helmet before that was about the same noise level as the Shark
I desperately need to find something that cuts the noise having a real bad case of tinnitus makes it worse.
Not sure if another helmet is the way to go or maybe a aftermarket screen?
Any ideas which way to go

My HJC is far quieter than my Shoei even though the Shoei is a far better made lid.
Surprisingly they're both much quieter on the MV so much so I don't have to wear earplugs with the Shoei which used to be mandatory on any bike.

Yep.V17R wrote:is your MV a naked?
I still don't think playing around with screens is the answer to any noise or turbulence question though. For an average size bloke anyway.

Try riding with a neck sock. OK now that we're coming into cooler weather, unless you're somewhere in the top end.
