LOL yeah bit embarrassing that.
Thanks Paul,  I actually did see a tutorial video like that just before my trip.  Good thing too, because otherwise I would never have been able to lift it.   Only problem was my bike was more horizontal which made it tougher, plus I had to lift up with the wheels against the lip of the path which made it awkward.
(Unfortunately recording timed out for the bit where I actually got it up. and then the "tag" recording started after it was up.)

suggest a set of R&G out riggers, yes they are are ugly and expensive but they do work

Chris what a great ride, as I live in Wodonga the middle 2 sections are basically my back yard and just wonderful rides, I think a few locals are planning another assault on the snowies soon, I just hope I am available that weekend, your videos have got me champing at the bit.
The fall over can happen to anyone and it was good to have it included as good reminder to all of us of just how easily it can happen.

***Camera warning***
The mounting of a camera on the helmet is illegal in Vic, and you can get substantial fines, it has been fought in court and it is deemed that a helmet with a camera affixed makes the helmet non-conforming to Aus standards.  Yes it is very dumb and I suspect the coppers just don't like being filmed when they pull somebody over, oh and tinted visors are also on the naughty list.

Fit the camera to the bike when in Vic.Grampians and Snowys Tour Icon_sad
