Re: How many do you do ?
I purchased my Bandit in Jan 2012, I've done 28,000 km, by Jan 2016 it'll be on about 30,000
the 1st year was high with a trip to North Qld, 2014 was less than 5000 with a heap of rennos happening and no time to ride, no need to commute

Re: How many do you do ?
75,000+ kms in 5.5 years on the Bandit = ~ 13,700 kms per year. I don't run up many on the others.

I don't wish to tell anyone as it is far too low. I don't ride a lot these days unfortunately

Re: How many do you do ?
about 24k kms per year. My commute is roughly 70kms each way, there are couple more interesting deviations I take which add about 10-15kms to that.
I like day and weekend trips as well with as much social riding as I can manage.
My wife has just got herself an S40 and is loving it, so I anticipate the annual count to increase

About 13,000km per year - commute rain or shine. Weekend rides as many as I can fit in being a shift worker.
Planning to do a 2up road trip to Tassie from SEQ next year - work and $ permitting so that will add a bit of distance.

Okay I confess. I'm on the same kms. Mine is the first run of bandit 1250s and I've owned it since October 31 2007
I do admit that we bought it thinking of doing an around Australia ride. Then my wife got pregnant and that was it. My 6 year old son Joshua is excellent though, wouldn't trade him for all the rides in the world. So it did about 20k pretty quickly and the last 18 had been weekend blasts and riding to work

Re: How many do you do ?
My original road bike gpx250 did well over 20000kms 2up in a year with my wife on the back for 95% of it. I just don't get much time these days and a lot of my old riding buddies have called it a day. Life changes, I still love riding though unless it's 35 degrees like it is today

Re: How many do you do ?
It was easy when I was a commuter 15K give or take one or 2 K
Now, upwards of 10K But it can be 3K in a single trip So might be 16 or more. I really don't take much notice. I do ride a couple of times a week at least, often just a "blat around the block - 50K or so, but the kays go up when I use the trip to go out of town 200 - 400 at a time (out and back in a day with some time off at the destination) I do enjoy the medium distance trips for whatever reason, But it's the "go away for a long weekend" that really racks up the kays.
I am certainly backing off. Once there was a time when I was away, visiting most weekends and they'd all involve 600k, or just ride around for a day looking at stuff and find I'd done over 1000K. Arthritis in the hip is starting to seriously hurt me now and while it makes me a little shy of the bike, it really isn't much different if I take a car. In all honesty, I've probably got more scope for a comfortable position on the Bandit. (no position is good for a long time) Highway pegs on the Rentech bars have made all the difference.

Re: How many do you do ?
On my last bike I did 26000 in 12 months. I'm probably looking at ~23000-25000 a year on the Bandit now (I found a job slightly closer to home... only 54km each way)
