Who would have thought a 9 time works champion would let a young rider get under his skin so much. What is worse than the incident is that race control never black flagged Valentino. Regardless of who the rider was, that move was never in the spirit of the sport. I say he should be banned for the remainder of the season. Tell him to come back when he learns not to spit the dummy and endanger other people's lives. I know it's hot in Malaysia but it's no excuse for his behavior

What could have been the best battle ever turned into a dummy spit . I was hopping he would pull in and say "stuff the points"  I stuffed up .
To get up on the podium and stand in Drad Smiths (?) rightful spot was pathetic .

totally understand your frustration Gus,have been a huge fan of Rossi for years but that was bad, plus they should have given him a drive through as they would do in V8 supercars, nothing stopping marquez doing same to him next race which would only be bad for the sport

Championship is over now Rossi has to start from the rear of the grid next race and has lost 3 points
looked to me like MM was doing everything possible to upset Rossi's race that wasn't normal racing at all
seemed like he let Lorenzo by very easily and didn't fight back at all
Too bad Rossi lost his cool, next season will be interesting!

At first glance, I thought it was very bad sportsmanship on Rossi's behalf, but now I think that perhaps he was just doing what he said. Trying to shake MM.
He had already given the hand signal a few laps earlier, because there was no doubt that MM was not racing for a win, but impeding Rossi after blatantly letting Jorge pass.
Disappointed that MM fell off, but I think he rode into Rossi.
If I was Rossi, I would be sorely tempted to ride around at Velencia, at the rear of the field for twenty laps, waving goodbye to the crowd.
If Marquez is not in the running for the championship, why mess with the contender?

After watching the one brief aerial view, Rossi was no where near any race line, and forced MM right to the edge of the track.

I reckon MM turned on an assumption, thinking Rossi was finally going to go to a race line, but didn`t, and that's why it looks like he may have purposely turned into him.

Try and watch the aerial view.

Valentino needs to stop being a sook. The organisers have to grow some balls. Jack Miller missed out on a title by the Spaniards too, but he didn't try and knock people of in the process or create a big drama at a pre race press conference

Maybe this is my chance to win something .
I start at the back of the grid . Every time I'm about to get  lapped I "take one out "
I should be able skittle the whole field within 20-22 laps,  leaving me to cruise around for the final lap on my own , a WINNER. Razz

Here is quite an interesting, and obviously well informed, view of the latter events in a great MotoGP season:
