SA / VIC get together in Edenhope VIC, RD1 May 23rd/24th

As posted in the VIC Ride page:

I was chatting to Rayman about doing a overnighter for the SA members sometime this year, he suggested Mt Gambier, I was thinking Mid Nth of SA.
His idea of Mt Gambier got me thinking, we could do a SA / VIC get together somewhere about 1/2 way between Adelaide & Melbourne.
I've had a bit of a look and this little gem popped up, Lake Wallace Hotel Edenhope, about 390km each way, $30 a room inc continental breakfast

Would any of the VIC members be up for it a bit later in the year? Easy morning ride to Edenhope, check in, go for a ride or just relax and talk shit, head home Sunday or if you can get Monday off stay a extra night. Who knows, we might even be able to talk Paul into this one as well

I just called the Lake Wallace Hotel. $30 pp a night inc continental breakfast is correct. They have 7 rooms with 14 beds. Depending on how many we get could do a group discount as well. Off street parking for the bikes. They said they try to cater for bikes/riders 
(They host the HD forum SA/VIC meet every year as well)

Lol hubby just said if I play my cards right I won't need to pay for a room..lol he wouldn't be coming along for this one, his weekends are too short.

I've checked Kaylah's cheer leading schedule for football home games plus a few games I really don't want to miss, these are the weekends that would work for me

23rd/24th May
13th/14th June
20th/21st June
11th/12th July
8th/9th August
15th/16th August

If none of those suit I'd also make it work for these weekends (above are 1st preference though)

9th/10th May
22nd/23rd August

Anything will work for me, I just may need to check the holiday calendar at work

I'm in if its between August and Oct/Melb Cup weekend at the latest

If North Adelaide play finals Sept is out for me, if they have a shit season Sept will be ok

All dates should be fine for me, pretty flexible with dates.

You should be available in September Chook, no probs. Roosters and Bombers both on holidays by then.

I'm not holding to much hope for a good year from the Bombers but I reckon the Mighty Roosters will go ok

May 6th/7th is a Wed/Thurs, would that make it the 9th/10th that's no good for you?

My mate I rode up to visit in Mooranbah is about to move back to SA, he's pretty keen but won't want to hear any complaints about the Bandit seat, he'll be on a Monster, 400km in a day is pretty much his limit.

Are you and Sam the only 2 Bandit riders in Melbourne that don't think a trundle down to the shops is the limit for a ride

And it won't be much better on the south side if Grampians, in August either..
