Brilliant!!

A old pub (1909) with basic pub rooms ($55 p/n single), good value meals, picturesque location in a old tin mining town

What sets this place apart from the others is the motorcycle shed,
permanently locked,
occupents get supplied a key
Drying cabinet for gloves and jackets
Drying racks for boots
Hanging racks for jackets

2 young ladies (sisters) from mid coast of NSW run it, their parents own it, dad is a avid motorcyclist

Baz and I are both enjoying a great tea as I type

Bed in a shed

This isn't somewhere I've stayed so can't give it a rating.

On our travels in Tassie, Baz and I were approached by a lady passing through Bicheno and she gave us a stack of business cards for a new motorcyclist specialist accommodation place in Fingal, ironically we were travelling through Fingal that day but already had accommodation sorted for a couple of nights in Launceston.

from their web site

Our Dream #bikebedshed

BED IN A SHED TASMANIA·FRIDAY, 23 FEBRUARY 2018

We had this dream to move to Tasmania and create a brand new accommodation building like no other. A building to accommodate single, couple and group travellers all under one roof , we can accommodate anyone inc, corporate getaways, girls wine and cheese escapades or just for the boys on a trout fishing weekend.  So here we are in Fingal nearly ready for all of you to come stay and experience all the beautiful Fingal valley and NE Tasmania has to offer.

Exceptional rides for both road and dirt bikes. The majestic South Esk river winds its way past the township which is accessible for canoeing, swimming and fishing. The incredible stark face of Bare rock, rolling green hills and an abundance of flora and fauna for the avid photographer. Nights in the valley are generally clear which allows for spectacular star gazing conditions. Bush walking, cycling, 4wd forest roads, rec reg trail bike riding and the magnificent Ben Lomond plateau with Tasmania's only ski fields for day trips. So what more could you want? Well there is more, but we will leave that for you to discover.

What will you find here at Bed in a Shed?

-Lock up garage parking for motorcycles and off street parking for cars.

-Assistance with break down/ repairs of motorcycles. Tools loaned.

-A brand new concept building where you can kick back  with a drink chatting with mates about the days ride, just like being at home. We offer new beds(tall singles or king size). 3 singles to a room for group bookings or couples can book a room. Total of 4 rooms with 12 single beds or 4 king size beds with a single for a child.
3 toilets, 2 bathrooms . One is accessible compliant. Large common area with lounge dining and coffee by our large metre long fire box. Large led smart tv, bluray player, WiFi and internet.

-Breakfast is included with your stay comprising  fruit juice, tea, coffee toast and cereals. For a full breakfast if desired, Chelle’s cafe, located a short walk from our location is where you will find friendly staff and wonderful food to get your day started or for that big country dinner to complete a perfect day.

-So if your looking for accommodation that is innovative and modern, then you need look no further than Bed in a Shed Tasmania which is positioned perfectly for day trips north, to Pyengana and the Bay of Fires and south to Wineglass Bay.

So in closing, we welcome you to stay with us on your next trip to the east coast of Tasmania and enjoy  all it has to offer.

Cheers,  Darren and Louise Elms.
