Streaky Bay, SA
First topic message reminder :
I'm away for work this week, this morning I went for a walk in Streaky Bay and was coming back past the jetty as the sun was coming up
The quality isn't great, they were taken with my bottom of the range Samsung phone

PS: when mentioning Mt Gambier I was thinking that a bunch of us would get the GOR in while we were at it! Not to worry - it'll be there for another one.
The only reason I'm suggesting the Flinders Ranges is there is plenty of great riding and it's reachable from WA in 3 days (or a easy 4)
Maybe one year we could base ourselves somewhere to do the Grampians and GOR
Every time I driven on the GOR I think of riding it. Then i look at the tourists clogging up all the good twisties and know it wouldn't be such fun on the bike anyway

I've done it on the way home from Philip island a couple of times ( once with Sue as pillion ) ..................Some beautiful scenery & the forest section is pretty good , but if you get stuck behind a truck or something , overtaking spots in some places are a bit light on . We were usually trying to make Mt Gambier for the night , so didn't stop much for the touristy thing, so if you had the time to take a couple of days to do it , there is lots of stuff to see .Ewok1958 wrote:I'm certainly agreeable to an SA forum or somewhere close.
