G'day all! Empty G'day all!

Post  Eric K Sun 16 Nov 2014, 1:21 am

Hi all,

I too became the proud owner of a brand new 1250 FA end of October. I sold my Busa due to some injuries sustained recently, and the FA is now right up my alley. I had no difficulty choosing it over the excellent competition in the marketplace, as it is my second one after a 1200 S bought new in 2007 just before the 1250 came to SA, and sold (mistake) in 2010.

Greetings,
Eric

Welcome Eric from another SA resident ...........South Australia that is . I would let your retriever play with my shepherd but she hates other dogs with a passion ...... Maybe the lion may have been better  Laughing

Thank you very much guys for this nice warm welcome! Seeing I havent ridden my 1250 yet (that is another story), I have been wondering which are the better one - the 1200 or the 1250, as seen by the members of this forum? Based on the reviews of the 1250, it seems the 1250 is quite a step forward, but what does you guys say?.......

I would have both if I could ..........Yes the 1250 is more refined than the 1200 with the suspension , motor , frame ,& the 6 gears ( still sometimes look for another one though LOL ) & the way it produces its power is extremely useful in the real world , but there is something about the carbied 1200 motor character wise which I like . The 1200 motor is a lot easier at tappet adjustment time , despite the intervals being half the distance than the 1250 as well . Strange thing is they both still feel like your riding a bandit .
I hope you're going to share that popcorn 2WA  Laughing
