One of the "safety features" of the Bandit is to twist the throttle to accelerate out of impending danger.
These automatic brakes are designed for drivers that rank actually paying attention to the road as a secondary importance to their:
phone calls
text messages
radio
AC
GPS
Breakfast cerial
lipstick & other makeup
.......... (insert other distraction here)
So a better solution is something to engage with the distracted driver to make them aware of their surroundings, this is a good start:

I believe Abs and traction control and so on are just technology for bikes and cars are extras so people who have no right to ever get behind the wheel or on two wheels. What happened to the bike rider who could jump on it and ride anything. who have the basic principles of correct braking and riding for the conditions and even driving for the conditions. To many people blame everything else without knowing there own ability and driving / riding to it. Well rant over hope I didn't offend to many. If so suck it up everyone has the right for an oppinion
