Re: Who would you choose ?
Ok I'll start ...........since my parents both died some time ago , there have been lots of things I wished I had asked them when I was able , but was too busy getting on with life .

Re: Who would you choose ?
interesting thread Paul!!
I guess if sentimental was to be the topic, I would, just like you, go for those closest to your heart.
But if it came down to anyone else, I`d have to go with Einstein, and Salvador Dali.
Although these are people of modern times, in life history, maybe even Tutankhamun, how were those pyramids made?

Easy one for me.
I'd love to have a chat with my son Nicholas who I lost 26yrs ago.
We'd have a lot of catching up to do.

Re: Who would you choose ?
I'd love to have a chat with my old man, he passed away a few days before his 57th birthday not long before my son (then his only grandchild) turned 1.
He had 3 sons and no daughters and I know he'd have dearly loved to meet and spend time with his grand daughter who is now 16, he'd be so proud of them both as he also would of my brother's step daughter and step son.

Interesting Thread paul and some well thought out and touching responses.

It would be family members only. I've not seen much of them in my adult life. Try twice in over 40 years. Lots of catching up.

In my case, it would probably be my bro, that we lost due to a motorbike accident 26 years ago. Or my dad that we lost 6 years ago.

I suppose Hitler pre the war would be a good one to have a word or two with & explain he is going to lose anyway despite all the atrocities on others . Then if he couldn't see reason , I could always push him over the edge & change history.
