It's Over - Finished
A 7yr loyal, faithful and honest relationship ended today.
I'm a bit sad. I've been seduced by a younger, sleeker model with high hopes and promises of good and better times.

Re: It's Over - Finished
Thanks fellas. Peter
I'm not going anywhere. I love Bandits (GSX1250FA not so much) I love this site and the people it brings together so if you allow me I'll stay.
Who ever doesn't allow will me be banned anyway

See if you spot why this went wrong.

Excuse me Paul, are you referring to the redhead black one or the blonde black one.
I consider the redhead might be faster as she has longer legs.
Anyway, I thought this forum was to do with motorbikes.

Howdy 2WA,
This is a truly remarkable forum unlike a number of others I have been associated with.
The humour is often and regular and the technical support is freely given.
Us dis-loyal Bandit owners are not getting treated too badly considering what we have done
I have recently joined the CBR650 forum in the UK.
Firstly, I am without doubt the oldest member. I get the feeling most members are well under 30 years old. I guess this is probably due to the style of bike. A lot of members have upgraded from CBR250RR bikes so this seems to confirm this. Downsizing like I have done is something most of them do not understand.
One issue is the membership is quite international with members from UK, US, Canada, Thailand and 7 in Australia to date.
We discuss fuel economy, me in L/100Km, some in MPG(UK) and others in MPG(US) and confuse the crap out of each other.
When it comes to being a little humorous I need to tread fairly carefully with such a varied international audience. I've posted a few funny (well I thought so ) jokes and they have fallen completely flat.
I would suggest they should watch Crocodile Dundee to get a few tips but I guess not many of them were born when that movie was around.
One instance was when a member was asking about locking his helmet to the bike when parked. My suggestion to be careful not to tip it upside down just in case it rains was not appreciated. I think I may have insulted him Oh well, shit happens!
I'm definitely hanging around here

Re: It's Over - Finished
All good fun you blokes (no women has responded)
At the very least I have saved myself the trouble of deciding what tyre to put on the front before Jim Colemans Vic Alps ride.
It looks like I have a fresh pair of Dunlop Roadsmart. According to the Dunlop website they are a specific VFR1200 tyre.
Will be interesting. The used test bike had Diablo Corsa's of some description. No opinion on them. They're round fat and black.
