Finland, WTF? Hello!
Hi all of you, day time down under & night coming here!
Just joined Your forum, haven´t even checked yet how it is like...
Though Bandits are very common also in Finland, sometimes it is hard to find company or advice. Banditforum.uk has been "under construction" too long already....
Name is Juha, I have a naked -09 1250. Used to have -04 600N. I´ve been in Australia once, one month in Queensland, Cannington and Mt. Isa mines where we supplied finnish Toro trucks & loaders, naturally the best in the world Also I can remember Brisbane and .. that bigger City öh where our flight home started (7 flights to go...).
What I liked to ask right now is that I´m planning to make a gixxer-like exhaust, first buy Holeshot or Arrows pipes, the buy stainless pipe and maybe Yoshimura can (little enough to fit under seat) and then cut, plan, fit etc. and finally go to someone who takes care of the welding.
Have you seen a solution like this in some Bandit?

Re: Finland, WTF? Hello!
Welcome to the forum pegasus, sorry, I can't answer your exhaust question but I'm sure others on here will be able to offer plenty of advice
Re: Finland, WTF? Hello!
Welcome to the forum Juha.
Is this what your trying to achieve? Although this is on a GSXR.
Personally I wouldn't be putting an underseat exhaust on the bandit. Unless of course your also looking at relocating the ECU. I'm not sure if the ECU would appreciate the heat from the exhaust.
What about a neat little stumpy like this one

Welcome along, Pegasus.
When you are able, post up some pics of your bike and your local scenery.
We all love pics and, I think that you are our first Finish member, you will have some outstanding photo ops in your area of the globe.
Tell us about your riding.
How cool does it get?
Does it snow frequently?

Re: Finland, WTF? Hello!
Eleven replies already? All right you folks living upside down, shortly Im a middle aged man who has just recently found out what this is all about. And this keeps me sober and causes bad addictions..
Ddriving season here is almost over (at least most think so) but still there are days like today: 20 degrees celcius, no wind, no clouds, leaves started to fall. Have been boating today but tomorrow must take some smaller trip! Nights here start to go down to zero and are really dark (have you maybe heard of midnight sun i.e. For a few days sun does not rise at all, strange).
Evening and morning fog or whatever is a thing to notice. But still, couple of months riding left. My cousin living in Helsinki has a busa and if we have a chance, getting to Baltic countries in a cuople of weeks. Thanks for your attention and I will be back like Arnold,

Re: Finland, WTF? Hello!
It's all good Peg. Most of us here are small boys in middle aged men bodies except for Re-Cycled as he's still being carbon dated
The midnight sun must be confusing fot lots of things. If we had that here there would be a tax on it! Also kangaroos wouldn't know when to commit suicide. Chooks wouldn't know when to come home and muggers would be stumped.
Most of your weather sounds ok. Good luck with the big 1250.

Alive and soon going on the road!
BUT it was below zero, might still be? FMI.fi forecast shows 7 m/s fron north (Lappland, not the swedish one, it is not ***king Lappland except maybe Jokkmokk). And +8 degrees. Nice
