Looks like fun. I desperately wanted a Grand Vitara when I bought my last car. Just couldn't close the deal. Suzuki don't discount like others apparently.  We were only $1800 apart too. Maybe next time.

Picked this one up for $3G
Needed front hubs, a cv boot and tyres. But still a good buy imo.
Surprisingly capable little cars.

I remember the early Suzuki (for me) back in the late 70s early 80s - Unstoppable little things.
Remember sitting in the back of one for 4 hours with 2 brothers and 2 cousins - no seat belts going bush and fishing with me Dad.

Oh yeah - Stockton Bch, good pick up for 3G.

Yeah, many years since I have been up there and 40 years since she went aground.
I got quite a shock at how little is left. A deck light is bravely hanging in there.

The wreck in the pics is what is left of The MV Sygna, for those not from Newcastle.
She ran ashore after battling seas in an east coast low weather event in 1974.
A Japanese salvage company managed to pull her in half and towed away what they could.

Thirty three years later The Pasha Bulker suffered a similar fate, ending up on the main beach of Newcastle. Nobbys beach.

Yes they towed away the Syg but couldn't keep the Na afloat. lol!

I slept through the storm in '74 but not the 2007 one, funny there are many parallels like the Captains ignoring the warnings.
