Headlights...I`ve been Spoilt!

After just buying my second Bandit, that being a gen1, to go along with my already gen2, having had HID for so long, I forgot how bad Halogens are.

I`ve just converted the gen1 to naked, and the light I used, is a Bosch 7", used in Duc`s and BMW.
This is the comparison between the two bikes, high and low beams.
I corrected the shutter, and aperture on the photos to correct for over exposure, and this is basically what you really see in a paddock.

I have had HID lights for around 4 years and they are brilliant.

Mine are 35watt 6000K.

Next time I buy I will be looking for 5000K or maybe 4000K to get away from the blue tinge.

I also wired mine through relays as I found the volt drop not acceptable due to the Bandit wiring being thinner than vermicelli noodle.

yeah, I`ve had these particular ones for 7 yrs, in my gen2, through relays, and running 4500k. In my opinion, they give a white light. they are also through projector lights, as the gen2 is.

I still think 5000k looks blue to me, and I`d never contemplate 6000k.

I think I`ll be ditching the 7" round halogen, and getting projectors for the new gen1.

I hate poor lighting.
