Lloyds Auctions
Anyone ever go to one of these? Wondering how cheap the bikes sell for.

If you can outbid the dealers, wreckers and dreamers then add on their commission at a price that you think is fair, you may snag a bargain.
I tried, for a few auctions, to pick up an ex police BMW. To no avail. Too much interest in the bikes that I was chasing.

Re: Lloyds Auctions
Is that 12.5% above the hammer price?

That rings a bell. I seem to remember that there was another fee, perhaps registration to bid or something. It did work out to be about $750 on top of the $5G that I was willing to pay for an ex police bike. Which meant that I had to win one for $4200 ish, which just wasn't going to happen.
