Folks

Unfortunately I dropped my Bandit the other day. Was going down a steep muddy road.
As a result, broken blinker and scratched cowling.

New blinker approx $50 but new cowling was quoted approx $700. So, I decided to fix the scratches instead.
This will require repainting the cowling and set of new decals / stickers.
Any idea where I can get them cheap?

Thanks
Andy

Bit of bad luck there Andy, sorry I couldn't remember what type of bike you had, but a quick look on Ebay found these here - they're about AU$67 delivered, but I'm sure there are others around.  Hope the repair comes off okay and that there was no damage to yourself.

+1 for Barry's suggestion - plenty of sellers in the UK.

I had the same mishap as you (muddy slosh that a pig wouldn't have been able to stand up in) - thankfully no tank or sidecover damage.  I did a bit of painting on the fairing and added a few decals over the worst bits, eg bullet holes.  Makes me laissez-faire  about further damage but if I was ever to trade or sell it, I'd probably need to do something a bit more like what you're thinking.  In the meantime, I'll just get by.  PS: no-one ever seems to comment on my damaged fairing so a lot of it might just be in the mind.

That's better than the $70 "trade" price I was was quoted by a Adelaide dealer last year

I ended up getting a second hand one for $30

I was able to get a new panel from here http://www.bluecitymotorcycles.com.au/
cheaper than I was quoted to respray and I would have still had to provide decals!
