Gotta have a bit of comfort.
Doonas, pillows, mattresses.
I just hope the tent is big enough. Couldn't find my good one. Must be up the farm. Ended up with a $20 Kmart special.

We're off to Bretti, the other side of Barrington on Thunderbolts Way, camping for the night. Then Armidale for a night in a motel.
A bit of sight seeing at Gostwyck Chappel on the way. Near Uralla. A beautiful little old chappel which is covered by Boston Ivy and turns red in the autumn. Well worth a look if you're ever near by in autumn.

Hope you have a good trip, Mark.
Thanks for the tip, it's not nearly as spectacular in September.

Yeah, Pete.
It seems that we're a few weeks too late, as well.
Ivy has gone. Still some golden leaves on the trees. Absolutely incredible autumn riding weather, though.
Pics when we get home.

You'll never get a hotel room this big.
Never dive onto a stool after setting camera self timer.
Steak, onions and potatoes ala bush
The red ivy had fallen already, but the autumn leaves of the trees were still beautiful.

Nice pics mate. I take it you are now back home. Was it cold camping? The weather seems to have been pretty good.

Yes. Home and unpacked. Wishing we were still camping.
The weather has been glorious.
Camping was a treat. Not cold at all. Even Armidale, Australia's highest city and renowned for its cool climate, was summery.

My son reckons there's lots of weed in Armidale
I've been past the Gostwyck Chapel in the truck when all the vines were green. It looked good then, but those pics of it red are great

Nice looking setup. Anaconda sell waterproof duffle bags which they quite often have on sale for half price ($45). Less chance of an individual item falling off the back, and also easier for packing everything on the bike. Also keeps everything dry.
