If all goes to plan....

In a few days, if all goes to plan, and my technical issues have been sorted.. I shall be riding down to Barcelona for the Catalunya MotoGP from Bristol (the south-west of England)...

It's approx 1000 miles one way give or take a few miles depending on route changes etc..  I'm aiming at doing it over 3 days.

The cleaning of my tank had better work and last this time now that i've hopefully done the job properly.    

I'm looking forward to this stretch of road from France into Spain:



And when I say if all goes to plan... I'm definitely going... it's just a case of whether I use the Bandit or not...

You are so lucky to live so close to the European rounds of the MotoGp.
I have ventured to Phillip Island and Sepang, but all the other rounds are too far.
If the had the time and money I would follow the entire season and attend every race. Its on my bucket list.

Well... The Bandit has been absolutely stonking!! Aside from the starter solenoid packing up as. I was about to board the Channel Tunnel... But she bump starts easily enough... LOL.

1200k's over the last 2 days, and I'm now sat in a hotel in Beziers (France) with free Wifi.

The roads have been brilliant. I banged out a fair few miles on the toll roads.. Long, straight and very boring... But it had to be done to fit my time schedule. Today saw me head up into the Pyrenees, which was awesome. I saw the Millau Viaduct.. Decided not to ride over it, but instead take the old (non motorway) roads for the last part of my journey, and the road and views were breathtaking!!



Tomorrow sees me take the roads I posted above.. Only about 400-450ks until I reach Barcelona.

Glad to hear you got the bike sorted (mostly) in time. Looks like a lot of fun.

That Millau Viaduct is an impressive piece of engineering. It never ceases to amaze me that humans can tackle a project that large and formidable. Happy and safe travelling for the next legs.

Looks like the weather is behaving itself too, have fun stay safe, more photos.
As we are now in winter down under and its going to rain over the east coast for the next week I doubt there will be much riding being done.

So yes very jealous as well
