Re: THEIR DONE
Posted this notice in the local rag to make the local denizens aware;
Flash blindness from Gazzars bike,
The initial thermal pulse from my bike can cause eye injuries in the forms of flash blindness and retinal scarring. Flash blindness is caused by the initial brilliant flash of light produced by my bike. This flash swamps the retina, bleaching out the visual pigments and producing temporary blindness. During daylight hours, this temporary effect may last for about 2 minutes. At night, with the pupil dilated for dark adaptation, flash blindness will affect people at greater ranges and for greater durations. Partial recovery can be expected in 3 to 10 minutes, though it may require 15 to 35 minutes for full night adaptation recovery. Retinal scarring is the permanent damage from a retinal burn. It will occur only when my bike is actually in the individual's field of view, all care taken but no responsibility, WEAR YA GLASSES...............

Re: THEIR DONE
Berry Noice mate. Wish my headers looked like that. Every time I try to take off tar spots, I end up with more scratches.

A light spray with WD40 or similar will make cleaning the headers very easy.

+1 WD40 is excellent for taking tar off, just spray it on, let it soak & you'll see the tar start to run.

Re: THEIR DONE
I've found the best thing for initial clean on the exhaust is kero followed by car wash liquid when I wash the rest of the bike, gets rid of tar, bugs, rubber off my boots and pretty much anything else with little effort
