Things to avoid
This was posted on ASB , but I thought it may be of some interest to some of you . Australia seems to be lagging behind some countries when it comes to banning this stuff ...............Kinda makes you wonder what you can eat though .

Re: Things to avoid
Isn't it amazing how many of them can cause cancer yet they are allowed in everyday items

I think everyone either knows someone or has had cancer themselves if you were to ask them .

My Missus is getting over breast cancer that was diagnosed 4 months ago. She's not looking over my shoulder at the moment, (so she's 43 ) and has been a vegan for the best part of 25 years. I think we've succumbed to the fact that living gives you cancer. Its just one of those things. The positive side is most cancers are curable if you catch them early. Guys you know what to do. Girls don't put off getting a breast screen, do it yesterday.

My missus had joined trusted trolley on Facebook. They are a bunch who actually tell you what food is decent without horrible additives etc. You will be surprised how bad some of the normal food is that you eat

True but some things that we eat, drink and breath will increase your chances

No Doubt mate.
Reddog that sounds like a cool site its a pity Facebook is banned in our house due to a 17yo that should be studying for his HSC. Might try to find a similar thing elsewhere.

Re: Things to avoid
The sad part of it is , the govt. is cutting back on a lot of funding for research etc .when it is most needed .......The cancer society sent me a newsletter informing me of it , & it just makes you wonder why . I'm sure the increasing costs of care etc for those with cancer would in the long run out weigh the costs of finding a cure .In my instance ,( genetic ) they already know the gene , so finding a way to stop it , you would think was only a matter of time with some funding, & if they know certain things cause it , do something about it & ban them .
