This is a Cbr125 that I built a few years ago with the intention of getting into a single class racing series. Unfortunately it didn't eventuate in NSW. I sold it to a young guy in Qld who said he was going to race it.

Moriwaki fairing and tail modified to fit. Fairing was pretty straight forward, but the tail was too wide. I had to cut a V out of the middle and join it back together.

I did all the paintwork, even hand painted the Repsols as I couldn't get stickers to scale. All the others decals are stickers. Took a while to source the New 27.

Cut the hole and molded glass around an ice cream bucket mold to make Suzuka style headlight.

Borrowed some paint from work, it was close enough to Repsol orange for me. Pics don't do it justice.

Thanks. It was a hoot to ride. Racing starts from the lights, full noise around town and still doing legal speeds, lol
I came over the crest of a hill after blasting away from the lights, head down, arse up and there was Mr Plod with his radar gun. I shat. Looked down at my speedo 85 in an 80 zone, phew. He didn't ping me.

That would be because you gave such a great response to the post , I thought how on earth can I compete with that . As imitation is the best form of flattery , I decided to take that path & copy yours  .   tongue   Razz

The english seem to be taking the credit here , but it may very well have been chinese first

Thanks MT.
It's more the sense of achievement in creating something unique than anything else, that I enjoy.  Just a pitty that I don't have room to keep all of my toys.
I do enjoy making a bike my own, whether it be some tasty mods or a full build. keeps me off the streets. Can't seem to hang onto them, though.  Lol
