Re: Bandit in Japanese
mind you I could be wrong. Seems the Japanese are not real sure.
1. bandit =
hito
2. bandit =
hizoku
3. bandit =
sanzoku
take your pick of these.
I think I'd be better to get a german dictionary

Re: Bandit in Japanese
The site where this is set out is below.
The two Kanji together mean San Zoku or Mountain robber. The author feels the second Kanji (the one above), or Zoku, is the best one to reflect the term "Bandit" and someone made up a decal for his bike that looks quite good. I have no idea how accurate it is: for all I know we could be advertising Mountain Dew

山賊
bandit, brigand
無法者
outlaw, bandit, criminal, desperado, highwayman, fugitive
人外
inhuman treatment, felon, evildoer, breech of morals, absence of human habitation, bandit
悪党
villain, rogue, scoundrel, gangster, wretch, bandit
匪賊
bandit, rebel
匪徒
bandit, robber, brigand, highwayman, footpad
悪徒
hooligan, rowdy, ruffian, hector, highbinder, bandit
I think the last one is probably most likely, as the first Bandits were known as a real hooligans bike.
And most of the 1200 riders on here are Hooligans!
