Secondary thottle position sensor
Has anyone got a way to adjust this sensor (LHS) that I can understand?

I used a multi meter on my 1200 to adjust it. It was quite easy Gus. Someone here might know what the reading should be.

Yes. Take the air filter out so you can get at the secondary butterflies (or shaft if you haven't any). The adjustment is easiest with the TBs removed from the bike and taken round to the left to allow the two left side plugs to be connected
Unplug the really hard to get at electrical plug that goes to the SVTA mechanism in the lower middle of the TBs. This stops the secondaries being moved by the bike's ECM.
Make sure the two sensors on the left hand side of the TBs (TPS and secondary) are plugged in. You will need multi meter with pointed ends. I used my wife's sewing pins to puncture the leads to the plug and then used crocodile clips onto them. Make sure they don't touch and do this with the ignition off.
The wires are the Yellow with a white stripe (positive for the meter) and black with a brown stripe.
Turn on the ignition. With the secondary closed it should measure around 0.6 volts. Adjust the sensor by loosening the bolts and moving it slightly till you get the voltage right. It can be fiddly!
Don't over tighten.
