No Slacking!!
Just to show I haven't been wasting my leave - actually finished (nearly) the refurb on the bathroom this morning (after Santa left of course).
Before (or part way through):
After (still a few things to do but I'm happy):

Yep, nearly seven months - buggered if I know how I'll adjust to returning to the commute and office job at the end of January.

Re: No Slacking!!
My wife made the windows - she does both stained glass and lead lighting. I just had to install them (which involved modifying the walls as the windows are now in different places to the originals). The reason this project has taken so long is that nearly all of the room was rebuilt, including the floor, walls and ceiling. So I am relieved it's finished!

Magnificent job Ewok! I was silly enough to call my Missus over to have a look at your handiwork & got the old, " Why doesn't our bathroom look like that? You don't go back to work till Wednesday. I'm sure she thinks its like I Dream of Jeanie where you just fold your arms and blink. Great work.

Last weekend of my leave period and I finished the room outside the bathroom (a bit of a corridor rather than a room). Bev has since put some furniture back in.
