Post  stretch Sat 17 Apr 2010, 3:05 pm

I just ordered a Hugger and Belly pan from this mob www.simpson-detour.co.uk in the UK. All up price including postage from the old dart $300AUD.
Some mobs on Flea bay are asking between $220 and $260 just for a hugger.

Will post up pics and let you know what i think of them when they arrive. Hopefully 2-3 weeks.

It looks really great, but I can't help but think its going to get dreadfully dirty, if my header pipes are are any indication. Very Happy

No different to any full faired bike. My way of thinking is a small amount of protection to the oil filter and the very vunerable water hoses down there as well as a bit more aerodynamic and looks good too!!

Still waiting for my goodies thanks to that Volcano in Iceland, no planes as yet.('Sad')
The Company im getting them from have sent me an email saying they wont post it until the planes are flying again so as not to have it sit in a warehouse somewhere and get lost (thats good customer service) Take note Aussie Retailers/Wholesalers. Not only are they thinking about the product getting lost but also sent an email advising me of this.

Finally got my Hugger and Belly pan from the Uk. The Hugger took all of ten minutes to fit. The Belly pan took a fair bit of mucking about trying to line up the brackets but after a few hours all done. The products are in ABS plastic and can be ordered in a few different colours out of the mould ready for painting. I chose glossy black so i didnt have to paint them as they would be chipped up pretty quickly. Now Just waiting for a full set of front and rear Hel braided lines from the UK from www.cobraperformancebrakelines.co.uk. All up price including postage to Sydney AUD $123. much cheaper than anywhere else i looked.
