I think I've bought a Sewing Machine !
First topic message reminder :
Went over and did the trade on the bikes yesterday. Rosie for the new girl, "09 Silver 1250. Yet to be named and chistened. Am very happy with the deal. I put my Renthals on 1250 at the shop. Is very comfy. Got her on the freeway coming home and all you can hear is the engine. Purring. Hardly any exhaust note. That will change very soon. The gearbox is so smooth , I love it. A little cluncky into first. But nothing too bad. She has a new set of P3s on . They feel very good. I think it has been well srviced but not too well cared for. Looks like the previous owner may have traveled on gravel roads a bit. Nothing a bit of elbow grease can't fix. The rear Wilbers shock is superb. That is a real bonus. The ABS brakes feel excellent. Have a new set of good pads that were waiting to go on Rosie. So will put them on . She is already jacked up, tied up. and stripped down to do a complete check over and tidy up. Bit of paint here. A bit of polish there. Can't wait for our ride on the 8th and 9th.

What about "Shades" as in 50 shades of grey. As it's really Grey, not Silver. lolHammy wrote:SuzySuzuki wrote:Congrats on the new bike!

I wouldnt suggest saying Hi Ho to your bike in public, some unreputable women may be offended...
Going with the 6 degrees of separation, you could go with Christian Grey lines.. but that gets a bit tedious, the books arent even well written

How about "The Ghost" as in the Gray Ghost
That would then make you The Ghost rider!

now the fun begins.
I am tossing up between suspension changes and removing secondaries/PCv etc.
