First topic message reminder :

Well, this is what I get for being a) cheap, and b) not listening...
The Dan Moto JISU lasted all of a fortnight before cracking some weld spots. Even tho it was only a couple of weeks old, they wanted me to send it back for repair (not even replacement). Screw that (and I'm sure that how they make their money by people not bother to return broken stuff).

So today my new Delkevic showed up.
Its a bit shorter than I pictured in my head and quite a lot louder. But I do like it and have already ordered the add-in baffle.

It looks a lot better, is a lot less likely to slice me open in a bingle, and was really not that hard. Very Happy

Thanks Gus!

While we're on the subject of exhausts.
When I had no exhaust on, I noticed when looking back into the collector box something that looked like a baffle.
Is it a baffle? Removable?

its the catalytic converter to make the bike legal for current emissions levels for vehicles on Australian roads. Removing will technically make the bike illegal however a number of guys have fitted arrows headers and I am currently saving the pennies to buy a set myself. I am not sure what the guys do when it comes time to have vehicle inspections done or if the emissions are even tested.

Not that loud Reardo. Baffle out. Mind you I fired her up when I took the std can off just for kicks and was surprised at how quiet that was. That bloody big cat' converter must hold a lot back. Will definately go for a set of headers next year.

Yep, I know what your saying.
That's why I removed the cat. It is better with out it. A little louder and with a exhaust pulse.
This video shows it a bit, But can't hear as good, as in person.

It's what they call a metallic Cat (Metal). It takes 4hours, Long screw driver, Jimmy bar and hammer.
Take the slip-on off and do the key-hole catoscopy.
